Every Child Deserves to Dream
Building a just, equitable and empowered society for women, children and communities.
Who We Are
Established in 1993, Nav Bhartiya Nari Vikas Samiti (NBNVS) is a grassroots development organisation committed to promoting dignity, equality, justice and sustainable development.
For more than 30 years, NBNVS has worked with women, children, adolescents, small and marginal farmers, landless labourers and other vulnerable communities across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Our work has evolved in response to the challenges faced by communities. Today, our programmes span child protection, education, health, nutrition, gender equality, livelihoods, disaster response, WASH and social justice.
We believe that lasting development happens when communities are not merely recipients of services, but become active participants in identifying problems, claiming their rights and creating solutions.

What We Do
Child Rights & Protection
We work to create safer environments for children and protect them from child marriage, child labour, abuse, exploitation and other forms of vulnerability.
Women Empowerment & Gender Justice
We support women to understand and claim their rights, strengthen their participation in community institutions and access justice, social protection and economic opportunities.
Adolescent & Youth Development
We engage adolescents and young people as informed participants and emerging leaders through clubs, peer leadership, school programmes, rights awareness and community engagement.
Access to Justice
We work to bring legal awareness, assistance and support closer to marginalised communities through legal aid, para-legal networks, awareness camps and community-based justice mechanisms.
Livelihood & Climate
We work with communities to strengthen livelihoods, improve access to government schemes and promote climate-smart approaches that can contribute to greater economic resilience.
Government Scheme Linkages
We help vulnerable families understand and access government welfare and social protection programmes, enabling them to strengthen household security and access available entitlements.
